We've been teaching and training generations of paddlesports enthusiasts since 1972, here are some of the awards
we've gained in that time. Many of these are still available to view next to the reception area in our clubhouse.
Slalom GP Gold Cup
1973
Gold winning slalom team headded by Tom Davis.
Canoe Excellence Award
1975
Awarded to our founder John Cunningham by the former British Canoe Association for achievement in training would-be later champions.
British Kayak Grand Prix Gold
1989
Won by our 1996 team of James Baker and Robert Neville
Community Shield Award
2003
Given to Canary Canoes for excellence in canoe coaching.
South East England GP Gold Award
2006
Won by captain Mary Winters.
Best of England U17 Award
2015
Earned by our current captain, Mary Holmes.
